Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving, all full of fun and memories. I’m thankful for so many things but here are a few of my faves:

• The current man in my life (hehe)- my cutie Zorro.

• My family and friends. That includes you! (my lovely blog readers and commenters  ) Seriously, i am so glad to have met so many cool people lately via blogs and twitter! It’s amazing what this technology has done.
• The ability to travel and explore new places. I love exploring!
• Creativity. And inspiration.

• Learning new things, such as learning how to crochet. It’s harder than i thought!
• Photography. I have grown so much as a person and through the lens ever since i picked up my first SLR camera. And it’s helped me get through these rough past couple years. So much.

• Sunshine

Lots going on as of late. Yesterday was a great Saturday filled with acupuncture, New Moon (the movie, just in case you’ve been lost from society for the last few days), family dinner and crafting with my lovely cousin, Jamie of A Forest Frolic. Today was lazy and full of crafting, laundry and staying warm. Now, i need to just get thru the next three work days and then it’s going to be the start of some fun traveling for me! I’m so excited i can hardly contain myself. Eeeek!

Don’t forget to sign up for my holiday card swap by midnight tomorrow night, or at least by early morning on Tuesday, November 24th. Yup, this Tuesday. I want to get all the addresses out to partners before i leave early, early Thursday morning. Yipee!

So, for true Thanksgiving inspiration, let’s have a look at the following, shall we?

So, i’ve been thinking. And as much as it hurt, haha, just kidding….anyway,back on track now… I’d like to host a holiday card swap. So i am. The holidays can be hard for people, or they can be the most magical time of year – but whichever category you fall into, it’s always nice to share them with friends and family. No matter which holiday(s) you celebrate, whether it be Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Solstice or another, let’s share the love for this holiday card swap!

Just email your name, address and website/blog info to me at kristin@sweetworldphotography.com by next Monday at midnight, November 23rd and i’ll get you your swap partner’s info by the end of the month so you can have a couple weeks to get your card together – let’s say it has to be in the mail to your partner by no later than December 15th.  That’s in the actual mailbox at the post office by December 15th (just to confirm that…hehe.)

So, what are the rules? Well, first of all, do not sign up if you have no intention in actually participating. Unfortunately, some people like to do that. And if you do sign up and have an issue that arises at the last minute and you can’t participate, please let me know as soon as you can so i can get something out to your partner so they’re not excluded.

Second, the card should be handmade. Yes, made. I’m not talking about a super Mona Lisa painted card, but something that is hand-crafted and comes from the heart. It can be as simple as gluing shapes to paper, attaching a festive photo or as complex as a painting or embroidery. It’s up to you. But i’d like to inspire you to be creative so let those creative wheels turn! If you need ideas, you can also email me and i’d be glad to help you out!

Then, of course, top it off with a sweet note to your partner. And viola! We have some sweet holiday greetings

Lately i’ve been dreaming of lovely kitchens. I love all things vintage so these are mucho dreamy. For real. Yum.

I’m trying to be better at blogging again. I’m getting a little better, i think    So, first, let’s get down to business. Ms. Maedchenmitherz is having a heavenly cute online class in January and February 2010. And let’s just say it is so heavenly cute! Before you can even register for the class, she’s having a giveaway for a spot in it! So, check out her blog for more info on the class and the giveaway. Too cute for words! She is such an inspiration and i’m so glad i came across her in blogland and on twitter.

Next, i’ve been crafting a lot lately and updating the shop so keep checking it for more new goodies! I’m excited about all the new products i’m offering. And even better, lots of items are under $10 and are perfect for stocking stuffers. Yay!

Hello.Sweet.World. wants to wish everyone a great haunting holiday.  Hope it’s full of fun stuff.
